Wales Summer Camp:
August 29th to September 1st		 Eli Montaigue Summer Training camp In Wales.

Eli Montaigue will be holding a summer training camp at the end of August 2008.

Training will be from Friday to Monday, and lots of it! At least 6 hours of teaching per day, plus more training with other students after hours.

So you should arrive on the Thursday 28th in the evening to set up camp ready for training first thing on Friday morning.

I am yet to find the right camp site, but I will be getting one with a nice space to train out doors, and somewhere undercover for bad weather.
Either bring your own tent, or stay in a cabin of some sort, I will post more info on accommodation when I find the camp site, it will be in South Wales near where I live, with easy access by car and train.

Those living near by can just join the classes through the day, but are advised to join the whole camp experience.

The cost of the four days training will be £60.00 plus accommodation which should be cheap especially if you're tenting it, and £30 for under 18's.
I will see also if I can get somewhere close to some shops etc for food, or if not people with cars including me can make a trip into the nearest town each day for people to get what they need.
If it all goes well, then next year I might get some catering set up.

Training will be in all the basics of Taiji and Bagua, including, Yang Lu-ch'an and Cheng-fu forms, Small and Large San-Sau, Push hands, and Bagua Circular form.

This will be especially good for those who don't have training partners, as there will be a lot of two person work.

ANNOUNCEMENT


 A rare opportunity is coming to Ottawa.  There will be a Taiji

 workshop presented by Eli Montaigue, son of Master Erle Montaigue, founder of the  World Taiji Boxing Association, on September 20 & 21, 2008.  

Eli will be teaching:

  • Advanced Small San Sau
  • San Sau’s Deadly Mother Applications!
  • Old Yang Form (Yang Lu Chan)
  • Single & Double Pushing Hands
  • and  Fa-jing Striking Methods

as much and as deep as the time allows.

Plus, get corrections at the workshop. Check your Yang Chen Fu form, Yang Lu Chen form, Cannon Fist, Large San-Sau, Bagua forms, Wudang forms, Hands Weapons, or Push Hands during this event.

Mother Applications in the small San-Sau

Mother Applications do not appear much in writing nor on DVD. From Eli’s site: “The mother applications from the small San-Sau are some of the best multiple strike kill methods out there, teaching you all about body movement, Fa-jing, and Dim-Mak. These method were banned in the US for a time due to being too violent! There is one Mother Application for every move in the Small San-Sau, the postures in the form are your first reaction, your defence, even though some of them alone can kill, the mother applications are your follow ups.”

There will be five hours of training each day, with the exact starting and ending times and

 location in Ottawa to be determined.  The cost of the two-day

 workshop will be $180.00 Canadian.

Private Lessons with Ben and Eli Montaigue:

Ben and Eli Montaigue have been training with me (Erle Montaigue) since they were both 4 years of age. They are the inheritors of the Erle Montaigue System of Fa-Jing Chuan or Explosive Energy Boxing which has its base in the internal martial/healing systems of Taijiquan, Baguazhang, Qigong and Dim-Mak. Their training is continuous every day covering several hours per day. I trust them to teach this system in its entirety.
Both Ben and Eli can now be contacted to arrange for private tuition for hour long classes either at your own home (if it is nearby) or at our own home here in Wales or at a pre-booked hall nearby.
