Four main styles of Tai Chi

1. Yang Style

3. Wu Style

4. Sung Style

Other variations come from the four main styles. 

During Erle's visit to Beijing China he takes video of  residents doing different kinds of martial arts in the streets, and parks. Demonistrations include Pakua Chang, H’sin I, Pushing Hands, Master GOH doing Push Hands, Chang Style (Master Chang), Qigong (Chi Kung), Pa-Kua Single sword, Sticking Hands.
Yin Chaun China WuShu Park - Demonstration include use of a tree to work the hands, H’sin I, Bagua, Taiji.
Wan Wu Tien Taiji Master, Yi Chaun - Earle and students meet and Interviewed with masters and grandmasters,
Qigong - In stillness lots of movement. Taiji - In movement lots of stillness. Place importance and let your body move with your spirit for Taiji.
Grandmaster Wang Hsin Wu 1975 Taiji champion. Fu Jung-Man nephew of Yang Cheng Fu. Shau Shan Kan-H’sin I Shanghai Wu Shu coach. Kung Guo Wu-General Secretary of the Pa-Kua Institute Beijing and Bagua Institute.

Equal balance of Yin and Yang the two are not mixable. Keep pace not to fast or slow. Eyes follow hands, don’t stare look past the hands. Taiji is a feeling can’t explain feeling from practice.

This tape is simply Erle Montaigue doing his early morning training at his own level. This is important as it gives an idea as to the future of your own training. You have in your mind's eye what the form looks like at such an advanced stage of 'Small Frame Form". So when it comes your time to advance naturally with the Qi telling you what to do, you will not resist this as you have already seen it. You should not of course attempt to learn physically from this series as to do so would be not constructive at all! It just gives you a picture of what comes at some later stage. You MUST crawl before you can walk. 
On this first volume, Erle practices on his own with a static camera set up on its own, with one single view and performs the Yang Lu-ch'an's form at the Small Frame Level, plus the first seven Qi Disruptive Katas, done at their explosive pace. Again, it is impossible to learn the physical movements from these tapes, but essential to see it done.

On this tape Erle Montaigue performs as he would in his own morning training session, the Yang Cheng-fu form at its small frame level. Erle Also performs the No. 8 (Ground Form) Qi Disruptive Kata and the No. 9 (Wuji) Qi disruptive Kata. Again, these are done with one static camera, very basic and it is not to learn the forms but rather to have some idea of what they look like at their most advanced level.
