Bagua Pole Form

At last, Erle Montaigue has finally put onto DVD the brilliant Baguazhang Pole Form. Unlike the Bagua Staff form which is based upon the Linear Bagua Form, this Pole form is based solely upon the Classical Bagua Circular form. The pole is heavier and taller than the Staff Form Pole and is an excellent body building form as well as for self defence (if one were able to carry it in the street nowadays). Broken into 8 “Pole Changes” in the same way that the Bagua Empty hand circular form is, this form gives you all of the body work for the self defence area. It tones up all of the important muscle groups for fighting.

MTG340:
Bagua Linear Qigong & Body Building Form: Volume Two

Erle continues with this series on how to use the Linear Bagua form as a healing Qigong method as well as a sub-conscious body building method.

MTG335
Bagua Animals Power Qigong: Lion & Dragon

Erle Montaigue teaches the two person training set from Bagua from the 7th Palm, an excellent way to learn about reflexive attack & defence. Also covered is a nice Palm No. 3 or Dragon Palm Power Qigong giving the ability to perform fa-jing energy strikes. For the first time ever published are the Bagua Animals Power Qigongs of Dragon which gives you motivation skills whether to defend yourself or to write that symphony! The Lion Power Qigong is also taught which gives you the ability to go into the Reptile Brain mode for serious self defence situations.

MTG330:
The Bagua Linear Qigong and Body Building Form:

This is an exciting area of one's Baguazhang training as it involves very advanced methods of doing the Bagua Linear Form. Here we learn how to use this great form as Qigong in order to completely re-balance the internal Qi. Excellent for anti-depression etc.
We also learn that this form, when done in a different way can be used to build body muscle for the self defence arts. Doing this form at this more explosive level is like doing an hour at the gym. Excellent for self defence as it build all the correct muscle groups for fighting.
See and ARTICLE on this: This form is also part of the "Qi Activation and Manifestation" method, where we are able to actually use the postures in certain ways to heal others in a full therapy for various disease and body states. You can read an ARTICLE Here:

The Unicorn is of the clouds and earth, he turns like a tornado and the organs affected are the whole right side of the abdomen including Gall Bladder, Colon and Pancreas. He is regal and powerful attacking with front hooves as well as rear. The Unicorn’s family member is the ‘Mother’.

 1/. Unicorn Turns & Twists

Walk the circle once in a counter clockwise direction. Take an inner L step to the centre as your body gyrates out of the circumference and your both arms circle CW to the L and upward and continue that circle downward. Take a L slap step on the circumference as both palms knife edges touching, gouge upward.

Open both palms slightly as if grabbing both of the attacker’s arms and then thrust the R palm under the forearm of the left, circling CW upward. The L palm will now slide off the R forearm as your R foot steps forward on the circumference and you strike with your R elbow. As you do this, your L leg will spin around to the rear, spinning on the ball of the R foot to face CCW again.

MTG323
Bagua Eagle Boxing Full Animal Form Plus Applications See an Article:

The Hawk’s element is ‘Fire’ (some people call this animal the Rooster). His body part is the eyes. His family member is the ‘Second Daughter’. He is brave and courageous and fights to the finish to save his family. Spinning & Turning over, using a chopping method is his way of fighting. This form also deals with the Liver and Kidneys. Erle Montaigue also shows the deadly and over-kill fighting methods from this animal form.

MTG316

Bagua Walking, This is How It Is Done:

Here, Erle teaches the most important Bagua walking method. For the first time shown physically, the mud stepping and what it really means, why we have to walk in this way and exactly how to do it. ALso on this DVD an introduction to the "Fa-Jing Muscle", where it is and why. This group of muscles is essential for gaining power for punching and generally attacking.  You cannot punch with greet power from short distances with the classic "6-pack" abs. This area will also be discussed in greater detail and exactly how to develop this muscle in the next Erle's Fighting System The Physical Side Volume.

MTG304

Bagua Phoenix Boxing:

The Phoenix is that mythical bird that tries to fly into the sun. However, the Chinese Phoenix has his feet stuck to the ground so never quite gets off. He represents the Lungs and the lower lumber vertebra. His element is Wind/AIR. His attacking method is ‘windmill palm’. The family member of the Phoenix is the ‘Eldest Daughter’. The phoenix uses whatever it has to defend itself. It will use its wings/hands, beak and feet. It will use locks and holds while the feet or beak attack. So we see with this animal, some nice footwork. This form is excellent for when you are perhaps bogged down and need some motivation. The lungs are the powerhouse of the body and so this form works on the lungs thus giving great power in fighting and healing. The phoenix form makes many movements on the outside of the circle. This is the balance the Qi internally and it is this that gives you motivation from this form.

MTG299
Bagua Fighting: The Beginning, Volume Two.

Baguazhang is an amazing fighting system for realistic self defence. It teaches us to react at a reflex level instinctively and sub-consciously, using whatever method is suitable for that type of attack upon you. This is where Erle Montaigue learnt how to fight; the exact methods he used to take his internal arts to that higher level. On this volume, Erle takes you further into the fighting methods of Bagua, covering the very deadly methods of ‘Single Pounding Palm’, point striking and fighting techniques. This series will teach you at a reflex level how to REALLY fight rather than simply learning some kata and expecting that to help you!

MTG298
Bagua Snake Boxing:

The Snake represents Water and the organs are Bladder, Liver, Kidneys and Spleen. The Snake flows with the force in order to defeat it, he slips in anywhere without you knowing! The Snake’s family member is the ‘Second Son’.

This form is particularly good for the whole body when done at its correct speed. The movements from the waist are the key to this form and also to the healing aspects. This form works upon the life force meridians of Kidneys Bladder, Liver and Spleen thus toning up the whole energy system. I can attest to this as I am possibly one of the most ‘tested’ medically people around, so I am able to test before and after training in this form. You feel energized and alive after it. As a side line to this form, it contains some of the most deadly and useable fighting methods of any martial system, emulating the movements of the snake with its powerful mid-section acting as a turbo to throw out the upper and lower limbs with great power and speed.

MTG295
Bagua Bear Boxing:

The Full Bagua Animal Bear Form:

The Bear represents the Mountain. He is steadfast, powerful and one of the earth. The bear is ferocious when protecting its young, but gentle at home. His organ is the stomach so this form works upon the ST meridian mainly. The family member of the Bear is the ‘Youngest Son’. This is one of the shortest of the Full Bagua Animal forms because the Bear does not need that many techniques. So truly deadly and ferocious fighting methods are presented in this DVD title along with one of the best healing forms.

MTG292
Bagua Lion Boxing: The Full Bagua Animal Forms V. 3   (Read An Article on This)

The Lion is the most violent of all the Bagua animals. He is solemn, explosive and aggressive. His power is awesome and his organ is the head/mind. He represents ‘Heaven’. His family member is the ‘Father’.

As with all of these animal forms, even in their Qi Awaking state, you must always keep in mind the animal they represent. You cannot simply do these movements as human beings. That is why the movements were formatted the way they are, so as to bring out the animal in us for self defense.

This form above all others will lead one into the contact with their ‘Reptile Brain’
Also included on this DVD are some very useful 'Lion' violent fighting methods which are not for the faint at heart!

MTG289
Bagua Fighting: The Beginning, Volume One.

On this first volume, Erle takes you through the theory behind the way we use Bagua for fighting and how we use abstract training methods to gain a superior self defence method. He also covers the first part of 'Bagua Boxing' training with a partner where we walk the circle touching wrists using pressure launching all types of attacks and using all kinds of defensive methods from the Bagua repertoire. If you want to learn how to really fight, then this is one of the best starting places to begin.

MTG287
Bagua Monkey Boxing (The Full Bagua Animal Form)

The Monkey is the closest animal to the human being and as such we are able to emulate this wonderful and deadly fighting system easier. The monkey is relentless in his attack using relaxed but deadly palm fighting methods which makes use of his very heavy arms. When you are struck by this method, it feels like a huge piece of wood has struck you. There are 8 separate sections all joined together into one beautifully flowing and powerful form. Each section has one or two 'modules' which have something in common, a way of fighting. When done correctly, this form is able to bring out the 'animal within' or the 'reptile brain' within. Once this aspect is mastered, you will have one of the most formidable fighting systems ever invented. This DVD runs for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

MTG285
The Baguazhang Animals Entering & Fighting Techniques Volume Two.

On this volume Erle Montaigue takes you through the learning of the Phoenix, Monkey and Lion entering and fighting methods. The Monkey and Lion are just so effective as are all of them, but these two are Erle's favourites. Not only the Entering Methods, but also the basic fighting methods of each animal is shown and demonstrated. This is an excellent series for learning how to fight like an animal and getting right away from static stances and 'martial arts' applications etc.

MTG283
The 8 Bagua Internal Power Sets/Exercises.

Bagua has an unique way of teaching about internal power and as with all internal systems all one has to do, is to train in a few simple training methods in order to gain great power from within and from without. There are actually 16 training methods crammed into this one volume because each of the 8 sets has an inner part and an outside method. I.E. Fighting and entering methods when you are on the 'inside' of the attacker's arms and those when you are on the outside of his arms.
These methods can also be used as entering methods when an opponent has a strong on guard stance etc. They are done solo as well as with a training partner taking the energy or Qi right up through the ground and out of the palms. These are also excellent for the healing arts such as massage, tui-na, acupuncture etc.

MTG280
The Bagua Dispersing Hands: Two Person Set, Volume One: (First 7 Parts)

32 separate exchanges, this is one of the most useful two person training exercises from Baguazhang. here we make use of every possible attack and defence in one beautifully flowing two person fighting set. Not the usual dance like set that many people teach nowadays but a very powerful and explosive set using very deadly techniques and defences against these. Here, Erle teaches the first 7 of the 32 separate sets which link up to make one very long and flowing fighting set. This is a must for anyone serious about their Bagua training.

MTG279:
Baguazhang Dragon Form: Full.

Finally, Erle Montaigue has begun the huge task of documenting the original Animal Forms.
The Animal Qi Awaking forms teach one how to gain and store the Qi. The Full Animal forms teach you how to release this stored energy.
Dragon:
The Dragon is unpredictable; he leaps, twists and undulates. His organ is the whole of the middle of the abdomen and associated organs. His family member is the eldest son and his attribute is Thunder. Because he represents the ‘centre’ the dragon also represents the whole body joining the spiritual (shen) with the earth.
The Dragon is possibly one of the most beautiful of the Animal forms although it is impossible to choose one of the eight as all are very potent in the self defence area as well as the healing area. The names of the postures give some abstract indication of what is going on in both areas of this Dragon Form. 1/. Dragon Breathes Fire: 2/. Dragon Shakes Tassels/Tail: 3/. Dragon Breaks The Lotus: 4/. Dragon Touches The Sky: 5/. Dragon twist To The Rear: 6/. Dragon Throws Fire To Pierce The Armour: 7/. Dragon Touches The Sky & Twists Body: 8/. Dragon Sweeps The 1000 Enemy: 9/. Dragon Uses Hammer Foot To Rear: 10/. Dragon Sweeps The Enemy: 11/. Dragon Looks into Cave:  12/. Dragon Enters Cave: 13/. Dragon Squeezes Between The Rocks: 14/. Dragon Finds His Way Out: 15/. Dragon Causes The Wind To Blow: 16/. Dragon Flies In The Sky:

MTG275
The Hidden Qigong Meanings/Applications for Each of the Bagua Postures Volume 4.

Each of the major postures from Bagua have a hidden meaning, either for the healing benefits or for gaining of power for the fa-jing and fighting system. And the hidden meanings are hidden in the very names of each posture. This information was only ever given out to very advanced students after they became proficient in the fighting side of the art as when once was proficient in self defence, one could then understand about the healing and Qigong side. This is the final in the series contains Palm Changes 7 & 8.

By knowing the names of each posture, we are able to find the hidden way to perform each posture as well as to find the hidden healing meaning or Qigong to gain power etc. For instance, the posture called 'Leaning On the Horse & Ask The Way' works upon the energy system of the body which is stored in the backbone.

MTG274
Bagua Animals Qi Awaking Forms V. 7 Dragon:

The Dragon is unpredictable; he leaps, twists and undulates. His organ is the whole of the middle of the abdomen and associated organs. His family member is the eldest son and his attribute is Thunder. Because he represents the ‘centre’ the dragon also represents the whole body joining the spiritual (shen) with the earth.
This form teaches us unpredictability and enables us to attack from any position at any time and with any weapon.

MTG272
The Hidden Qigong Meanings/Applications for Each of the Bagua Postures Volume 3.

Goes from the end of V. 2 up to the end of Palm Change 6. (Palm Changes 5, 6). Also on this volume are the last three Palm training drills, 6, 7, 8.

MTG269
Bagua Animals: The Entering Methods V. 1 Hawk & Dragon.

Each of the 8 Bagua Animal Forms has two 'entering' or 'opening' methods. These are methods that allow us to get in to an attacker who has a solid on-guard stance who would otherwise be impenetrable. We have a closed side offensive and an open side offensive method for each animal form.  The Dragon leaps, undulates, twists and changes. he is unpredictable. The hawk (see below).

MTG268
The 8 Baguazhang Animal Forms, Qi Awaking Forms Volume 6
The Falcon (Hawk) or Rooster Form:

The Falcon’s element is ‘Fire’ (some people call this animal the Rooster or Hawk). His body part is the eyes. His family member is the ‘Second Daughter’. He is brave and courageous and fights to the finish to save his family. Spinning & Turning over, using a chopping method is his way of fighting. An equally important body part for healing is the Heart. This is one of the nicest continually moving, circling and spiraling forms and really works upon the Qi and adjusting flow of energy in the body for a more balanced flow.

MTG267
The 8 Baguazhang Animal Forms, Qi Awaking Forms Volume 5
The Lion Form:

The Lion is the most violent of all the Bagua animals. He is solemn, explosive and aggressive. His power is awesome and his organ is the head/mind. He represents ‘Heaven’. His family member is the ‘Father’.
As with all of these animal forms, even in their Qi Awaking state, you must always keep in mind the animal they represent. You cannot simply do these movements as human beings. That is why the movements were formatted the way they are, so as to bring out the animal in us for self defense.
This form above all others will lead one into the contact with their ‘Reptile Brain’. In order to do this form correctly, the Reptile Brain must be used. There is also a Qigong associated with this form for activation of the Reptile Brain.
For this form, I always like to think of those pictures where the lion is leaping at a wilder beast as it goes by or turns. He/she is absolute aggression. We begin with the Lion Qigong method.

MTG266
The 8 Baguazhang Animal Forms, Two Person Training Methods: Vol. 2
Bear and Monkey Forms.

On this volume, Erle teaches the very powerful two person set of "The Bear". He is powerful and never gives up until his attacker is defeated. He locks and blocks the attacker's body before demolishing him with his powerful arms.
The Monkey is totally different in that he is sprightly, very quick and very difficult to fight against as he seems to get in everywhere, he is also very sneaky. This form is also taught.

MTG264:
The  Hidden Qigong Means of Each Baguazhang Posture: Vol. 2

Goes from the end of V. 1 up to the end of Palm Change 4.

MTG263
The Bagua Animals: The Qi Awaking  Shaking) forms V. 4: The Unicorn

This is the 4th volume in this series and covers the Unicorn form plus the Nos 3 and 4 of the two person Palm Training Methods. the Unicorn is of the clouds and represents the Gall Bladder, Pancreas and Colon. It is regal but also deadly and very powerful. His attribute is "turning like a tornado". He kicks and attacks with his front hoofs as well as the horn on his head.

MTG261
The Bagua Animals: The Qi Shaking Forms Volume Three: The Snake.

One of the most beautiful, deadly and health giving forms from the Baguazhang Animal Sets. The Snake represents water, however, unlike the Monkey who represents the 'Lake' with its bright and sparkling surface, the Snake's 'Water' is the fast flowing river. The river can get in anywhere and is very deadly. On the other hand, the river is also life giving, hence the Snake's excellent healing of the Spleen (nourishes), Kidneys and Liver. So the Snake also works upon the life force.

MTG259
The 8 Baguazhang Animal Forms, Two Person Training Methods: Vol. 1 Snake and Phoenix Forms.

The 8 Bagua Animal Two Person Training Forms are an integral part of one's Bagua training. Each form teaches the essence of the animal whose name it shares. How to gain the power of each animal, how to move like the animal in essence and how to cultivate one's Qi so that the body move fluidly and with great power. In this first volume Erle teaches the Snake and the Phoenix two person forms. The Snake form is of water and as such flows with great power in and out of every little crevice until it wins the battle. Its strikes are powerful and swift utilizing the power of the whole body coiled ready to strike in a split second. The Phoenix is of the Air and represents the power of the air, swooping and rolling, turning, striking with its powerful wings and wing tips then escaping to a higher plain.

MTG258
The Bagua Animals: The Qi Shaking Forms Volume Two: Phoenix.

This title teaches the very beautiful and deadly Phoenix animal Qi Shaking method from Baguazhang. It works upon the lungs and has some very potent attacking Dim-Mak methods using mainly the backs of the palms (like wings). There are 3 areas that we learn in the Bagua Animal Forms. The Animal Forms themselves: The Qi Shaking Methods, which are sort of like a lesser form of the main forms and lastly, the Animal two person training methods which I will be putting down onto video over the coming months.

MTG256
The  Hidden Qigong Means of Each Baguazhang Posture: Vol. 1

MTG255
Baguazhang Animals: The Qi Shaking Methods. Volume One.

Many people when they first begin to learn Baguazhang and often because their body is tense and stiff from training in other martial systems, find it difficult to get anything happening Qi or energy wise; so we have an excellent training method derived from the "8 Animal Forms" of Bagua, called "Shaking the Qi", a set of 8 relatively simple training methods that force the body to learn about Bagua Fa-Jing. Volume one contains the first two of these Qi Shaking methods plus the excellent first two of the Palm training methods to gain fa-jing. The 1st Two Palm Changes: Bear & Monkey are covered in this volume.

Baguazhang Deer Horn Knives, Volume 2.

MTG237:
Baguazhang Deer Horn Knives. Volume One: Covers the first two Changes.
Probably the most deadly and useful short weapons ever invented. With five cutting edges, and four points, you can use this weapon against any long metal or wooden weapon such as broadsword, sword, spear etc. The form is excellent for health as it gives your whole body a great workout along with toning up your Kidney Jing (life-force). Every conceivable strike, block and attack is covered using the multi faceted weapon. It will be produced definitely early in 2003. It is often called "Double Moon Knives" or "Mandarin Duck Knives" or "Elk Horn Knives". The form is performed around the circumference (for the most part) of a circle as for the Bagua circular form and it comes in 8 sections as well. Many of the posture names are the same as in the circular empty hand form, however, this weapon form is very much different and not just using a weapon with the Bagua form etc.  Every organ in your body is toned up especially the heart and lungs, liver and kidneys. The wrists become particularly powerful and your flexibility is also improved.  NB:// VOL. 1 contains a complete demonstration done at full speed.  Click to see a Window's Media Clip

MTG226
Bagua Fighting: The Most Deadly Point Strikes on the Most Deadly Meridians: Volume One.
Erle Montaigue receives many requests for a more simple way of showing the most deadly point strikes on the most deadly meridians using Baguazhang. This video series shows how Bagua uses three consecutive strikes using fa-jing all aimed at the most deadly dim-mak points on the most deadly meridians. Erle shows how to use each weapon without damaging yourself, using a hard mitt. He then goes on to show each point and its effect upon the body. Then he shows Bagua Fighting techniques to gain the most from this system. This is an easy to learn from series, it is not sophisticated, it is just straight down to earth Bagua fighting at its best, or worst if you are on the other end of it!

MTG218
The Second Six Hand Weapons from Wudang
As all of the Internal forms and fighting styles came from the WUDANG SHAN system's 12 Wudang forms, so too do the two person sets from Taijiquan and Baguazhang come from the 12 Wudang Hand Weapon training sets.
Before push hands, there were the 12 Wudang Hand Weapons. There are the precursors to push hands. Not the silly 'you push me, I push you' type of push hands that most schools now teach and often go into competition with! But rather the excellent p'eng/hinge, fighting push hands methods of today and the Erle Montaigue system.
These 12 two person training methods teach you everything you need to know in order to turn your fighting into reflexive actions that will just happen automatically when attacked. If anyone asks me about what training methods I advise to learn how to fight, I tell them the 12 Wudang methods, along with most of the other stuff, but these are really special. They teach you fa-jing, how to use it, instant reaction, never stop attacking, how to move the body in a flowing energy saving manner, deadly fighting methods which attack to the most vulnerable points on the body, how to move in accordance with what the opponent is doing to you. How to do the most damage in the least possible time with the least wastage of energy. The hands are used in the way of their name. So the 'Spear' is used to cut and stab etc.
In this 2nd volume, Erle Montaigue covers in his usual great detail, the last six hand weapons of:

COMBINE HAND:
This one combines many aspects of the first six methods and teaches us about instant attack and defense in any given situation.
DART HAND: This method teaches us about the use of very quick hands in continually striking with different methods. One hand strikes as the other one controls etc., just like the Chinese weapon called the 'dart'.
DRILLING HAND: This method teaches us about one of the most important methods of attack using drilling methods.
SHOVEL or SPADE HAND: This one makes use of the flats of the palms for attack and defense as you would if you were using a shovel!
DOUBLE BLADE HAND: This one uses the palms as if they were two blades in attack and defense. A very devastating method of self-defense also!
STUMP PULLER HAND:
This one has a lot of pushing (jerking) and pulling movements which work upon joints to dislocate them along with the more devastating dim-mak strikes.

MTG217:
The Wudang Hand Weapons Volume One (The first six)
In this first volume, Erle Montaigue covers in his usual great detail, the first six hand weapons of:

Hammer: This two person set makes use of the closed fist using the base of the fist as a hammer. It attacks the CO 10 or 12 points in a devastating 'Point Set Up' strike, ST 9 and 10 (neck), GB 3 (Temple) and again ST 9. Then in retaliation of this last strike, your partner then has a go.
Spear: This one is deadly and caution must be taken when training as the eyes are involved. The points struck are; CO 10, eyes (scraping the finger nails across them), eyes (same in the opposite direction), CV 22 (by spearing it) and ST 10.
Sword: This one is also very dangerous; CO 10 (Set Up), ST 0, ST 10, ST 11, TH 17, Neck in general, GB 3 (Temple) and ST 9 and 10.
Plough: This one is wonderful as it trains your reflex actions to perfection; Neigwan (both hands), 4 Neck points, LU 5, CV 22 (Neck in general).
Axe: This one attacks to; LU 8 (Both sides), Both sides of the neck chopping, chopping down onto either side of the neck covering many deadly points, back into LIV 13 both sides.
The Nun: The 'Nun' is a 3 section Chinese implement for thrashing wheat or rice. It has been  modified in its physical weapon form for fighting. This one attacks to mainly the neck and arms using the arms and hand weapons in the typical Bagua type 'Nun' posture so that the arms look like a 3 section staff.

The Mighty Baguazhang Wooden Man Vol. 1  Read an Article On This (See the Photo)
This wooden man set from Baguazhang is one of the best, not only teaching techniques, but also body mechanics and Qi flow etc. It is also one of the rarest training sets from Baguazhang, invented by Chiang Jung-zhiao. On this volume, Erle shows how to perform the first four of eight sets along with their self-defense applications. This form is great for building up all of the correct muscles for self-defense. (Duration: 1 hour & 10 minutes) Please note, that the quality of the below video is really poor and is nothing like the quality of the DVD of course.

MTG75
Bagwa Fighting Volume 3
More on the Bagwa way of fighting. On this volume is given more practical fighting techniques and more on how to gain the way to fight. This is the last in this series and so Erle Montaigue shows us how to learn how to fight the Internal Way. The way the mind works in a reflex sub-conscious manner, how to simply defend against attacks because of what the attacker is doing to you rather than trying to force your actions upon him. In this way, the attacker is really fighting himself!

MTG68
Bagwa Fighting Volume 2.
Erle takes you on to the feet and how to use them in fighting in the peculiar Bagua manner. More techniques are also shown. Here we use kicking methods both in attack and defense. Only the feet are used but the wrists still touch. We must learn to use peripheral vision as this is the only way to defend against kick at such close range. Later, we add the hand techniques so that this exercise makes for one of the most valuable learning tools ever. It gives you reflex actions.

MTG66
Bagwa Fighting Vol. One
This series takes you right from the beginning of Bagwa sparring/self  defense. Beginning with the most excellent way of learning about fighting, the Bagwa circular pushing Hands/sparring. This is done with two people standing around the circumference of a circle with wrists joined. We then walk around the circle and execute all of the attacking methods from this close position. This forces us to use Bagwa methods in attack and defense and teaches us how to fight without being 'thrown in at the deep and'. We learn through playing a game, how to fight. Before the student knows it, he or she is fighting using full power and full speed attacks and defenses.

Bagwa To The Max Volume One:

This is the natural carry on from 'Bagua Essentials' series. Teaches Baguazhang at it's highest level with the dim-Mak Applications. It is impossible to teach the highest levels of any Internal system from the start as beginners or intermediate students could not take in these advanced methods. You must crawl before you can walk and then walk before you can run. This series will take you into the most advanced area of Baguazhang form. This form is never taught mainly because most instructors do not know that it exists and also because many people never get to a high enough level to take this form internally. This is an excellent series for both the instructor as well as the advanced student. Or for those just curious to see what Baguazhang looks like at its most advanced level.
Each movement is taught in great detail with even the tiniest movements receiving attention as it is the tiny moves that form the backbone of Bagua.

When we begin learning this form it seems so long and seems to have so many movements.
But once learnt, we wonder where all the movements went as this form is so natural that we think there are less movements that we actually learnt.

MTG85
Bagwa Linear Fighting Form To The Max Volume Two

MTG70
Bagwa Linear Fighting Form To The Max. With Applications. Vol. 1.
The Linear Bagwa form is covered in detail at its highest level the fa-jing level. It is advisable to have studied MTG4 before attempting this level.
This explosive from is one of the great fighting forms from China. It incorporates every conceivable type of attack and defense and covers every method from the circular form but in a more realistic manner. It is not performed around the circle. This is the most secret of all Baguazhang forms and was only ever taught after many years of circular form learning. The most deadly multiple strikes are shown in great detail with their Dim-Mak applications. This form is excellent for learning about self-defense as well as for self-healing as it exercises every muscle sinew and joint in the body as well as your mind. If you wanting to lose weight naturally then this form will do it for you performing it only once per day taking around 10 minutes to perform. We have treated many obese people with this form and they have literally dropped the fat almost over night. Forget about your drugs or so-called wonder pills to lose weight or damaging diets, this is the truly natural way to get healthy and also fit, and there IS a difference.
The Masters who invented this form formulated it to work on all of the correct acupuncture meridians in the body to cause the body balance itself out physically as well as mentally. So you not only lose or gain weight depending upon what your body needs, you also become more tolerant and calm.

MTG45
BAGWA ESSENTIALS VOL. 5

Palm changes 6, 7 & 8 are shown in their most intricate form including the dim-mak applications. Here, Erle Montaigue takes you through the most intricate of the Palm Changes, the last three out of eight. Movements that most people would not have any idea of how such often 'weird' movements would work are shown to be so simple in application and deadly.

MTG43
BAGWA  ESSENTIALS VOL. 4.

Volume 4 covers palm changes  3, 4, & 5. In great detail including the Dim-Mak applications. Here you are taught the deadly Dim-Mak applications from the next three palm changes. "Palm Changes' are set of movements done around the circumference of a circle that have something in common. For instance, you might have a set that incorporates many centrifugal methods while another might incorporate many straight line methods etc. Never before have these Circular Form Techniques been shown in such detail.

MTG40
BAGWA ESSENTIALS  V. 3: THE FORM APPLICATIONS & DIM-MAK.

Every conceivable application is covered here using the Bagwa circular form. Bagwa is also a dim-mak art and so here, Erle shows the Bagwa Dim-Mak applications for the first time anywhere. This is the first in FORM  APPLICATION SERIES and will cover 3 tapes. In this tape the first two palm changes are covered.
The applications from Baguazhang are what makes it different. Natural flowing an economical fighting techniques that cause your attacker to think he is being hit by a truck that has turned into a whirlwind! For this first time ever, the secret Dim-Mak applications are shown in great detail. Although there are many applications shown in each set, you may take only one part of each set and use it with devastating results.

MTG39
BAGWA ESSENTIALS VOLUME 2. Hands & Feet

Exactly what the hands & feet are doing in great detail. Also some techniques using fa-jing. The hands & feet are the grounding for Bagwa and so this video is very important in this series. Covered in the most intricate form.
In Baguazhang, the feet and hands move independently to each other sub-consciously. The feet and hands are obviously the most important area of one's Bagwa training. This method of stepping and use of the palms will enhance any martial system as many of the Karate systems have come from Baguazhang. Bagwa has the fastest stepping methods of any martial art and although the hands move independently to the feet, they both work in complete harmony automatically to defeat an attacker using his own energy against him.

MTG38
Baguazhang Essentials Vol. 1: The Classics

Here, Erle Montaigue takes you right from the beginning in such detail that has never been presented before on video or in books. Like his Taiji Intricacies series, Erle covers the most minute details in this series. In this volume, Erle demonstrates the Classics of Sun Luc-tang and Chiang Jung-chiao, two of the main contributors to Bagwa and considered to be the best masters of all.
The 'Classics' are the writings left to us from the Masters of old, the genius who invented this system. Reading the written word takes a bit of working out as they have been translated from Chinese to English and often in rhyming couplets. So you have to be taught the classics by someone who is experienced in Baguazhang in order to show the classics and this involves a person who has been practicing the art for many years and whose teachers are of the highest quality. The teacher must have taken the 'Classics' internally so that he or she is able to show what they mean physically as this is the only way to learn the classics. Hidden within the classics is all that there is to know about Baguazhang apart from the physical learning of the forms and fighting methods.

MTG25
Bagwa Fighting Techniques And. Training Methods
How to use Baguazhang for fighting. The 32 main fighting techniques are given plus some rare training methods. Baguazhang has a way of teaching how to use the postures from the circular form. This two person set teaches this area.
Bagwa is one of the only systems, apart from Taijiquan, that gives us a set routine to learn how to use the martial applications. Using natural body movement and always adjusting to what the opponent is doing rather than trying to use a set defense method, the 32 Fighting Methods will teach you much more than just the techniques. It will also teach you about timing, coordination and most importantly 'balance'. Not only physical balance but also internal balance of Yin and Yang. These Fighting Methods are some of the most deadly ever invented with many even thinking that Bagwa is TOO deadly!
This tape takes you through step-by-step in learning these methods in the traditional Erle Montaigue meticulous manner with every tiny detail shown in great detail. You can either learn them by yourself or to get the most benefit, it is advisable to have a partner with whom to train. But be warned, these techniques are so natural and flowing that many have been damaged even in training as the energy in the beginning is very powerful.

MTG4
Baguazhang
The Complete Basic System

This Video teaches the complete basic system of Baguazhang including the classical circular form as well as the more explosive linear fighting form and pushing hands. Also included are fighting techniques as well as both of the forms done at full speed non stop at the end of the program. This is one of the more beautiful martial arts, and also the most deadly. It has an amazing healing affect as well. Most of the old. Bagwa Masters all lived to grand old ages and in good health. Again, if you are not really that well of fit, do not begin with this martial art as it requires much twisting and turning of the waist. This is the basic tape. The 'Linear' form is the longest form or kata of any martial art. If you can get through the circular and the linear form every morning then your health will greatly improve as will your fitness. This system will give you a more natural way of moving in your own martial art, giving more power for less energy used. Strike with devastating palm strikes from only a few inches away and still have knock out power. Baguazhang is a Dim-Mak art in that it only strikes to vital points on the human body to cause either great pain or death. It is also used however, as a great healing art either for self-healing or the healing of others. The main form is performed around the circumference of a circle, the premise being that your attacker in the centre of this circle. You are continually moving your centre around the attacker and eventually your centre is locked onto his so that whatever he does, you will react instantly without thinking because his Qi causes you to react in exactly the correct manner.
Bagwa is often called the "Art of Overkill" Which is the title of my new complete book on this amazing martial system. Bagwa gets the job done using the most deadly strikes. There are two ways that Bagwa works: The smaller person's way and the larger person's way. The larger person will use more straight line attacks because he can! The palms become extremely powerful and 'heavy' when the Qi accumulates in them from this type of practice. This Qi can then be used either to damage or heal depending upon what is in your mind at the time.
